I stopped brushing my teeth conventionally years ago.
Every now and then, because of laziness I do go back to using toothpaste and brushing and I regret it every time, but I also like the reminders of annoying symptoms that creep up on me when I do stop Oil Pulling.
Brushing your teeth with Regular Toothpaste, does upset the skin too.
Because of my Skinfoods, I don’t have any Skin Conditions, the minute I start brushing with regular toothpaste I do start to experience random break-outs on my body.
All of the problems I listed above are the exact reasons I get reminded to go back to Oil Pulling and within 2 days basically every issue I had, disappears. The interesting thing about OP is that my teeth actually feel stronger too, I can feel it in the roots, my gums feel tighter, my mouth feels fresher. Everything just feels better.
A crazy Side Effect I notice from Oil Pulling, my face looks lifted too. The swishing of the oil around in the mouth in the morning and at night is like a workout for the face, with the added benefits of the oils that feed your face muscles from the inside out, nourishing and toning your whole body system.
Oil Pulling is simple, you basically just swish about a teaspoon of oil in your mouth first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. I have worked up to doing this for 20 minutes, but you want to take your time and build up to that. I repeat it again at night and there is something about this process that does wake you up and also helps “tune you down” before bed.
You can use any kind of oil and I switch up my oils constantly, I also blend them with essential oils. Sometimes I blend my base oils too, to create different food synergies, but it’s all up to you and your preferences.
Make sure your oils are:
- Cold Pressed
Oh, after Oil Pulling, I do run a toothbrush around my mouth and rinse with warm salt water a couple of times.
Would love to hear some of the oil recipes you come up with and how you enjoy your Oil Pulling experiences too!
